The Nazeing Glass Room
This room holds exhibits of Nazeing glassware from the
early 1930's up until the year 2000.
Many of the pastel coloured bowls and dishes were part
of a collection of glass built up by the Late Herbert Elwell, a wholesaler who sold
Nazeing products on to Heals, Liberty and other major retailers between 1935 and 1950.
These older exhibits sit beside more recent Nazeing
glassware from the very end of the 20th century.
To complete the picture, some examples of the various
types of industrial glassware manufactured today by Nazeing. |
