Established
in 1928 Nazeing Glass Works is one of the oldest glass manufacturers in England and
can identify itself in glass manufacturing history back to 1612 in Vauxhall. Today, Nazeing Glass specialises in the manufacture of industrial glassware to customer's own specifications in various types of clear and coloured glass. Typical of the products we produce are: wellglasses, bulkheads, pavement lenses, wall blocks, railway signal lenses, marine & ship lighting, aircraft and airport runway lenses, exterior light fittings, street and display lighting, laboratory glass, pub advertising ashtrays, nosing glasses, corporate giftware, awards and trophies. We offer mould design and manufacture, traditional glass decorating, cutting, sandblasting, coating and engraving. As well as supplying the UK market, Nazeing made glassware is exported around the world to customers in Europe, Scandinavia, Pakistan and Australia. Our factory shop sells everyday glasses, cut crystal, engraved glassware and gifts. Although the factory is not generally open to the public, occassional factory tours and glass study days are held throughout the year, which can be booked through the factory shop. |
