Established in 1928 Nazeing Glass Works is one of the oldest surviving UK glass manufacturers and can identify itself in glass manufacturing history back to 1612 in Vauxhall.Today, Nazeing Glass specialises in pressing and blowing glass to customer's own specifications in various types of clear and coloured glass. Typical of the products produced are: pressed glass pavement blocks, wellglasses, bulkheads, wall blocks, railway signal lenses, marine & ship lighting, aircraft and airport runway lenses, exterior light fittings, street and display lighting, laboratory glass, nosing glasses, corporate giftware, awards and trophies. We offer mould design and manufacture, traditional glass decorating, cutting, sandblasting, coating and engraving. As well as supplying the UK market, Nazeing made glassware is exported around the world to customers in Europe, Scandinavia, Pakistan and Australia. Our factory shop sells everyday glasses, cut crystal, engraved glassware and gifts. Although the factory is not generally open to the public, occasional factory tours and glass study days are held throughout the year, which can be booked through the factory shop. |
