Established in 1928 Nazeing Glass Works is one of the oldest surviving glass manufacturers in the UK and can identify itself in glass manufacturing history back to 1612 in Vauxhall.Today, Nazeing Glass specialises in glass pressing and glass blowing to customer's own specifications in various types of clear and coloured glass. Typical of the products produced are: pressed glass pavement blocks, wellglasses, bulkheads, wall blocks, railway signal lenses, marine & ship lighting, aircraft and airport runway lenses, exterior light fittings, street and display lighting, laboratory glass, nosing glasses, hand made bottles, corporate giftware, awards and trophies. We offer mould design and manufacture, traditional glass decorating, cutting, sandblasting, coating and engraving. As well as supplying the UK market, Nazeing made glassware is exported around the world to customers in Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and Australia. Our factory shop sells everyday glassware, cut crystal wine glasses, vases, bowls, decanters, engraved glassware and gifts - much of which is also available to buy online. Although the factory itself is not generally open to the public, occasional factory tours and glass study days are held throughout the year, which can be booked through the factory shop.
